Конспект урока английского языка 5 класс "My pet"

Цель урока: обучение общению, развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков учащихся по теме "My pet".

Задачи:

• создать условия для применения знаний в знакомой и новых учебных ситуациях, закрепить Present Simple (в утвердительных предложениях);
• привлечение учащихся к активной творческой деятельности;
• воспитывать любовь к животным, экологическую культуру в целом.

Оборудование: ноутбук, проектор, презентация, картинки с изображением животных, раздаточный материал (карточки с заданиями), аудиозаписи, видео запись, учебник.

Ход урока

Начальный этап урока

Greeting / Организационный момент и приветствие

T: Good morning children! Today we will have a very interesting and unusual lesson. Let’s greet our guests.
P: Good morning!

Pronunciation / Фонетическая зарядка

T: But before we start, let`s do our phonetic drills.
- My cat is black. My cat is fat. My cat likes rats. Those are very fat.
- Will fills with pills a dish of his big fish. The fish is ill!

Theme. Aim / Объявление темы и целей урока. Активизация лексики предыдущих уроков

Solving the crossword. Кроссворд

T: In order to find out the theme of our lesson read the sentence on the screen and solve the crossword on the blackboard. Let’s start!

1. This animal needs very little water and it lives in the desert. (camel)
2. This animal eats bananas and it is very funny. (monkey)
3. This animal looks like a cat. It can run very fast. (leopard)
4. The animal that sleeps all winter in a den. (bear)
5. This is a domestic animal. It likes milk. (cat)

T: Children, can these animals be our pets? Why?
P: No, they can’t. They are wild and can be dangerous to us.

T: Right you are! And what animals can be our pets?
P: Cats, dogs, fish etc.

Т: Open your books at page 70 Ex.1. Look at the pictures, listen to the sounds and say which animal it is.

T: Look at the screen. Here is my fantastic animal Green. Help me to describe it. (It has big, green eyes, a small nose, a small body, small legs, a bushy tail)

- Pupil who choose a wild animal will be the first group "Wild animals". Pupils who choose a pet will be the second group "Pets".
- Match English idioms with the names of animals with their Russian equivalents.

T: Children, count your smiles. You get "5" for 8-10 smiles , "4" - for 6-7 smiles, "3" - for 5-4 smiles.

Рефлексия. Создание своего счастливого зоопарка

T: Look at the black board. There are pictures of happy and sad animals.
- Let’s make our "Happy zoo". Take a sad picture and leave a happy one.
- I hope your pets will always be happy with you.
