Урок английского языка в 5 классе "Удивительные создания" по УМК "Spotlight 5"

Цель: способствовать развитию лексических навыков по теме "Удивительные создания".

Формируемые умения:

• Учить использовать иностранную лексику в речи.
• Использовать языковые средства для выражения своего мнения и интересов.
• Читать текст с целью поиска конкретной информации.

Оборудование: картинки, учебник, аудиозапись к упр. 2 стр. 66, аудиозапись к упр. 4 стр. 66.

Ход урока

1. Организационное начало урока

- Good afternoon boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please.
- Let’s start our lesson.

2. Постановка цели и задач урока

- Now, look at the blackboard. You see the phrase "Amazing creatures".
- Who knows what does it mean? (Учащиеся переводят название и догадываются о теме урока)
- Well done. Today we are going to learn module 5 a. The name of this unit is "Amazing creatures".

3. Речевая зарядка

Well, at the blackboard you can see animals. Let’s speak about them.

Animals

• Which animals are from our country?
• Which animals can you see in the zoo?
• Which animals live on a farm?
• Which animals can be pets?
• Which is your favorite animal?

4. Основная часть урока

Работа с названиями стран и животных

- Open your books on page 66. You can see some countries. Do you know them? (называют страны, которые они видят на карте)
- Ok, there are India and Asia on the map. Let’s see what countries are next to India.
- Now, let’s do exercise 2 on page 66.

- Let’s look at the pictures, listen and repeat new words. Children, write down new words in your dictionaries. (Учащиеся слушают и повторяют за диктором новые слова, затем записывают их в свои словари)
- Well, let’s work with text in exercise 3.

- Let’s listen to the text and answer of my questions. (Ребята прослушивают текст и прочитывают его за диктором, затем отвечают на вопросы учителя)
- What is the national animal of India?
- What color is the Indian cobra?

- How many elephants are there in India?
- How many rhinos are there in India?

Keys: 1. The Bengal tiger. 2. It is black, brown, white or yellow. 3. No answer. 4. About 2,500 Indian rhinos.

Ok, let’s do exercise 4b. Read and finds the name(s) of: 3 countries; 5 animals; 5 colors; 5 other adjectives. (Ученики в тексте находят ответы на пункты и озвучивают их всему классу)
