Задачи урока:

• усвоение речевых клише по теме "Studying abroad";
• отработка навыков составления своих диалогических высказываний по теме урока;
• отработка изученных ранее грамматических явлений и лексики по теме;
• активизация страноведческих знаний учащихся.

Организационный момент

Good morning, students!
Today I will be your English teacher. I’m Albina Rashitovna. How are you today?

Which picture did you choose? (Ученик выбирает картинку и объясняет почему выбрал именно ее)

Речевая разминка

Do you like to travel?
How do you cope with homesickness when you are away from home?

Would you like to study abroad?
Where would you like to study?
Very well.

Целеполагание

Look at the screen and try to guess the theme of today’s lesson. (Учащиеся смотрят на экран и называют тему урока)

Фонетическая разминка и актуализация знаний

На доске слова:

confirmation [kɒnfəˈmeɪʃn] – подтверждение.
Accept [əkˈsept] - принимать usually used for school admission.
Ex: She was accepted into the medical program.

internship [ɪnˈtɜːnʃɪp] - стажировка.
hope something works out - to wish good luck
Ex: I hope the new job works out.

Host family - принимающая семья.
Gain qualification – получить квалификацию.

Listen and repeat after me.
Read one by one.

Развитие диалогической речи

There are dialogues on the desks. Now, work in pairs.
Make up your own dialogue, using an example and act out. 3 minutes to prepare.

Now we are going to listen to the audio about studying abroad. But before listening, we will do the preparation task.
Match the words and phrases with the definitions.
