Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку для 5 класса "Веселое Рождество"

Дидактическая цель: развивать ключевые компетенции в области иноязычного общения, повышать мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка и интерес к культуре стран изучаемого языка.

Задачи:

• практиковать обучающихся в устной речи, в использовании английского языка, как средства общения;
• совершенствовать языковые навыки (фонетические, лексические, грамматические);

• совершенствовать речевые умения (аудитивные, говорения, чтения, письма);
• расширить представления о праздновании Рождества в англоязычных странах посредством формирования общекультурной компетенции;
• повышать культуру общения, обеспечивать коммуникационную направленность обучения и естественность общения.

Ход мероприятия

Hello to everybody! We are so glad to see you! In some days it’ll be very great and important day! It will be Christmas!

Christmas Day celebrated generally on December the 25th. It is celebrated by billions of people around the world. Christmas Day is celebrated on the 25th of December. It is religious, cultural holiday and probably the most popular among people around the world and especially in Great Britain and European countries. It is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a family holiday.

Traditionally all relatives and friends get together and have special Christmas Dinner, sing Carols, play different games, make Christmas jokes, give presents to each other. And today we have special event – Christmas Сup "Merry Christmas".

Now we have four teams. You have some tasks and questions. And at the end if our Quiz we’ll find the best team and cadets who know about Christmas more than others.
In order to consider the best team we have the judges.

Now we start… You see the Christmas Tree where you may find the first task.
