Организационный момент. Введение в иноязычную атмосферу

Приветствие. Учитель приветствует учащихся, спрашивает у дежурного по классу дату, день недели, время года, какая погода, кто отсутствует. Настраивает класс на урок английского языка.  

- Good morning, dear friends! How are you today? Are you OK? 

- Let’s begin our lesson. At first greet your face partners, then your shoulder partners.

- I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please.

(Сопровождается изображениями домов на слайдах) Учащиеся воспроизводят ранее изученное стихотворение о доме. T: Now we`ll repeat our poem.

- My home is a big flat.

Jot Thought

Would you like to play ‘Jot Thought’? Everybody has 4 pieces of papers. Write down words about Homes and Flats,  pronounce them and put in the middle of the table.

Ss записывают ЛЕ на 4-х карточках= 16 слов.

Tic-Tac-Toy

Choose 9 words, mix them and  put them in three lines by 3.

Make up sentences using the words in different directions . Use the constructions ‘there is/there are’.

Work with your shoulder partner. Cross the used word.

Ss составляют предложение с каждым словом.

The difference between the words ‘home’ and ‘house’

T: Let’s remind  proverbs  about  home. 

Учащиеся повторяют все известные пословицы о доме на английском языке. 

East or west home is best. The wider the roam, the welcomer home. Every  bird  like  its  own nest.

Home, Sweet Home!  My home is my castle.

T: If we change the word ‘home’ into the ‘house’ will the meaning of the proverbs change?

T: Now I`ll give you sheets of papers with words. You should make up proverbs. 

Учащимся раздаются листы бумаги со словами, из которых нужно составить пословицы о доме. 

1.  Men make houses, women make homes. 

2. There is no place like home. 

3. Home  is where  the  heart  is.

Ss: листы бумаги со словами,  из которых они  составляют пословицы о доме. 

Взаимопроверка, сверка с ответами на экране.

Let’s watch a video  «Homes in Britain», and say:

2. Where do some people live?

5. T: What kind of a house would you like to live in? 

Ss:1. There are typical British homes and  unusual ones.

2.Some people live in flats but most British people live in houses.

3.All houses are of different shapes and sizes.

Применение сингапурской структуры КЛОК БАДДИС (Clock Buddiеs).

Составление диалогов о доме. 

T: Please, take your Clock Buddies. Meet a person who is free at 3 o`clock. (who is free at the same time as you are?)

P 1: Are you free at….? 

P 2: Yes, I am. И т.д. 

T: Thank you for your dialogues! You are super today! 

Ss ищут партнера «по времени» и составляют диалог по схеме.

Домашнее задание

To make a poster with captions “My Dream House”.
