Лексическая разминка

Look at these words. What do they mean? Match the words with the pictures of clothes. (учитель демонстрирует набор слов и картинки с одеждой) 

Обучающиеся читают слова вслух, переводят их и сопоставляют с картинкой.

Ученики: this is shirt, these are trousers, these are jeans. 

Речевая разминка

Let’s play a game “Snowball”

What do you like to wear? Choose some clothes and make the sentences in a chain. You should add your own word to the choice of your classmates. (учитель объясняет правила игры «Снежный ком»)

Обучающиеся сравнивают картинки и отвечают: Iseepupils. All of them are wearing school uniform. 

We are going to talk about a school uniform.

We should discuss a school uniform today.

Основная часть урока: аудирование

Please, open your books at page 36. Look at these children. They are pupils from British schools, and they should wear a school uniform. We are going to listen to their opinions on a school uniform. Please, listen to them attentively. Make some notes if you need.

So, what do children think about a school uniform?

Use the phrases from the board to talk about their opinions. (на доске даны фразы для выражения чужого мнения: He/she thinks that..., In his/her opinion…, In his/her view…)

Pay attention to ex. 15, there are some ideas. Who said so? Listen to the text again and find the right answer.

Ученики прослушивают запись и делают пометки в случае необходимости.

Затем отвечают, используя фразы с доски:

Hayley thinks that a school uniform looks smart. She likes it. In Andrew’s view, a school uniform is not comfortable to wear, he doesn’t want to wear it every day. 

Обучающиеся обращают внимание на идеи из упр.15, прослушивают запись вновь и называют верное имя, высказывают согласие/несогласие с идеей.

Sam thinks that school uniform costs a lot. I agree with him. In Abbie’s view everyone looks the same. I don’t agree with her. I think, a school uniform looks smart.

Look at the British standard uniform. Do you have the same uniform in your school?

What are the differences? 

Great! 

Now you will work in the pairs with your neighbors. Your task is to find 3-4 positive and 3-4 negative things in wearing a school uniform. Please, make notes in your copybooks to prepare your own opinions. You’ll have 5-6 minutes. You time is going!

So, it’s time to discuss! Pay attention to the phrases on the board. Use these phrases to speak and to discuss.

(на доске фразы выражения мнения и вступления в дискуссию: I think/We think/ In my opinion/In my view; I agree/We agree/ I disagree/ I can’t agree…) 

Let’s make a conclusion: what are the positive things you’ve found? (учитель пишет тезисно на доске плюсы школьной формы)

What are the negative things you’ve mentioned? (учитель пишет тезисно на доске минусы школьной формы)

Please, add any ideas to your notes in the copybooks.

Обучающиеся отвечают:

No, we don’t. Our school uniform differs from the British school uniform. Their school uniform is grey, our school uniform is black or blue. They all have jackets, we don’t wear jackets, etc.

Ученики в парах обсуждаю ттему, делая пометки в тетрадях. Необходимо найти 3-4 положительных стороны и 3-4 отрицательных стороны школьной формы. 

Обучащиеся вовлечены в дискуссию, им необходимо не только формулировать своё мнение, но и внимательно слушать одноклассников, чтобы согласиться/ не согласиться с ними.

We think that school uniform makes us disciplined, but we don’t want to look the same.

I agree with you, pupils look the same like robots in a school uniform. Also, in our opinion, we can’t choose if we should wear a school uniform.

In my view, school uniform has a lot of negative things: it costs a lot, we should buy a school uniform every year. If we change a school, we need to change a school uniform, etc.
