Конспект открытого урока английского языка для 2 класса "Do you like to play?"

Тип урока: урок-игра.

Цель открытого урока: обобщение изученного лексико-грамматического материала по теме "Игры".


  • развивать у учащихся способности и желание участвовать в процессе обучения английскому языку;
  • мотивировать учащихся к дальнейшему познанию иностранных языковых явлений;
  • прививать интерес учащихся к изучению иностранного языка;
  • развивать учебные и языковые умения учащихся.

Материально-техническое обеспечение урока: доска школьная, мультимедийная доска, задания на доске, карточки с заданиями, наглядный материал (картинки).

Ход урока

I. Организационный этап

- Hello, dear pupils! I am glad to see you! Sit down, please!

II. Постановка цели и задач урока

- Today we shall revise the topic "Games" and play a lot.

III. Обобщение и систематизация знаний учащихся

Task 1: You are to answer the questions correctly and quickly:

What is your name?
How old are you?
How are you?

Do you like to play with toys?
Have you got toys?
What toys have you got?

Task 2: Do you know the words "Toys"? I’ll show you a card and you’re to name the toy you see:

Game: Take a card and say: I have got.., the group says: She has got..

Task 3: Look at the square: find the names of toys there:
Now say what toys you like / don’t like to play with:
I like to play with ..
I don’t like to play with ..

Task 4: Look at the smartboard, read the sentences and correct them:

(pictures of games / wrong statements)
Answer: What games do you like to play in the park?

Physical Drill

Task 5: Read and complete the text: use words instead of pictures:

Hi! My name is Kate. I am 7. I am from Russia. I have got a family. I like to play with my brother. We like to play hide-and-seek in the park. He likes to ride a bike. I like to ride a horse.

We like to watch TV and read at home. And what do you like to do at home? Do you like to go to the park? Do you like to go to the Zoo?

Task 6: Do you know English Grammar? Let’s play - you are to CLAP if the word is plural:

a dog, cats, frogs, mice, horses, a game, a girl, boys, pupils, a teacher, planes, parks, a monkey, trains, a car
Read the words, are they correct?

Now, you’ll get cards: you’re to write down the verb: have / has: (groups):

  1. I ___ got a dog.
  2. Nan ___ got a frog.
  3. They ___ got toys.
  4. Bab ___ got a red box.
  5. They ___ got a game.
  6. Pupils ___ got books.

Now, look at the board: are the sentences correct?

  1. I am six.
  2. He are pupil.
  3. We am fine.
  4. He is ten.
  5. Sam is fine.
  6. Ann are funny.

Task 7: Do you know any English poems? Please, recite them: What are the poems about?

I’m a little boy
I have a teddy – bear.
I play with it all day,
I take it everywhere.

I have a hare,
I have a bear,
My toys are here,
My toys are there.

My pretty doll
Is very small.
I love my pretty
Little doll.
