Ожидаемые результаты: к окончанию урока обучающиеся должны уметь сделать аппликацию, рассказать о погоде и описать предметы одежды главных героев.
T: Good morning, pupils! Let’s sing the song "How’s the weather?" (Pupils sing the song and follow the movements)

P1: It’s cloudy, cold and windy.

Teacher shows the picture of a magic island. (See the presentation to the lesson)
T: Look, children! You know Larry and Lulu are on the magic island now. But do you remember why it’s magic?
P1: Because of weather. It’s sunny, cold and rainy there.
T: Let’s help Larry and Lulu to spend their holiday on a magic island. You know that on a magic island there are four seasons at the same time. But do you remember how we call them in English? (On the board there are four pictures of seasons and cards with the words. Pupils should stick the words to pictures)
T: Do you know what the weather like in winter (summer, autumn, spring) is? (On the board there cards with the words about the weather. E.g. it’s sunny etc. And pupils must stick them to the pictures of the seasons and tell what the weather is like)
T: But, pupils, you should help Larry and Lulu to choose the right clothes to live in the island. (On the board there are pictures of different kinds of clothes. Pupils must name them and stick the words to the pictures)

T: Now we should help Larry and Lulu to prepare for living on a magic island.
Teacher gives pupils pictures of an island, a sun, clouds, wind, and rain. Children should cut out, colour and stick them to the sheet of paper. Then cut out the figures of Lulu and Larry and their clothes. Then they should make up a description of their picture.
P1: It’s Larry. He is on a magic island. It’s sunny and windy. He’s wearing a yellow T-shirt, blue jeans and green shoes.
